ProtoPlasm21 Synthesizer The upgraded ProtoPlasm 21 has been reworked at a great extend and has become nearly a completely new synth. With it's new features like key-control on Delay (LKO), LFO modulation matrix and a dedicated Attack Oscillator it enhances it's main purpose as synthesizer for vivid textures, soundscapes and pads.
Discontinued as outdated by the new STS-33 with direct Super Modulation.
I've not been that happy not to have MIDI control on the Mod-Matrix which I think is some drawback. If I continue the ProtoPlasm I'll probably catch up with the TS or TSM and rework from that one. But there has to be a good amount of demand to encourage me as I've some more ideas in mind for different VSTi.
Also there had been a special edition of 'shuniji' Synthesizer for Beat magazine:

Swamp Synthesizer V.1.1
This synthesizer features 'Timbre-modulation' being achieved by processing each oscillator's waveform in a very unique way. The result is frequencies are moved to more mid and high ranges - enriching the sound even with harmonics and at certain settings adds a metallic character usually expected by a ringmodulator - but there is no ringmodulator used.
Each oscillator has actually two audio-outputs: one normal and one Timbre-modulated both being routed by mix-sliders to filter or direct out of VCA. So the most interesting part of a sound is already created in using the mix and modulation section of each oscillator.
Fortune Cookie '06
Has been a special X-Mas present 2005/6 to registered users of H.G. Fortune
Fortune Cookie 06 is a quite unique 'VA' synth for various types of solo and more or less typical polysynth sounds. It gains special uniqueness from it's different sync modes and X-Torsion. Came with 384 Patches!
Wheel of Fortune
1st algorithmic Freeware VSTi by H.G. Fortune It provides a bass and a lead synth part and will generate nice lines. It can be set to different scales! It is updated: 128 programs (including 32 by Tim Conrardy) and instant transposition via MIDI-Keyboard. The skin was kindly done by Ugo

About HG Fortune: background of my music and algorithmic work
Actually all arose
back in the early 90ies when I was developing some kind of tool the
"generate" music from horoscope-data. It was then when I developed my
very own system of algorithmic composition. This had been working quite
well. For the technical interested visitors: the music was done with
quite "simple means": Kawai K11, Kawai K4 & K4R, Peavey DPM V2,
some Juno 106 and JX8P, a Kawai RV4 as FX-Unit. Due to different
circumstances that system lay dormant for several years and I did some
different kind of electronic music.
In May 2003 I did some kind of music for a good friend of mine as a
help to get asleep and that led my focus back to my old system as I did
use some material from that work. As well I utilized some material from
the VSTInstrument "Sun Ra" by elogoxa which drew my attention to the
fantastic program SynthEdit by Jeff McClintock. Quite immediately I
realized the deep potential of SynthEdit so in about June 2003 I
started to "go forward to the roots" in reviving my old algorithmic
system into new dimensions. It took me until end of August til the
"system" was running basically to produce som more complex things. With
a lot of finetuning and enhancements til mid of September I was able to
add even a percussion-section which is offering an additional
dimension. Later in 2003 I did the 1st "Wheel of Fortune", in late
Summer 2004 "X-Wheel Of Fortune" and "X-Wheel of Fortune Pro" and now
this has evolved to an expanding range of stunning synthesizers.
I've
done quite a long list of different VSTi by now and for the STS-33 I
could finally find an elegant solution to control multiple targets by
an X/Y control pad in addition to already working modulations, and
without complicated workarounds
to filter out or limit data possibly exceeding certain internal ranges
- no extra CPU needed on this. And what's best there is
even additional control via MIDI. This will lead to further
enhancements of the next X-WoF too, but I still have to investigate for
the best options and possibilities.
About myself:
My first
inspiration to do music myself came in 1971 when I listened to the
German band "Xhol". In that time they were doing long, floating
improvisations very good to drift into other dimensions. Further
Influences came from Hawkwind, Amon Düül II, Nektar, Tangerine Dream,
Klaus Schulze etc. just to mention only the better known.
From 1974 - 1977 we had a band called Aldebaran which started as a
Rock-combo but at the end of 1975 changed to an electronic formation
utilizing organs, synthesizer, e-guitars and a bit percussion. There
had been a few regional performances.
In 1983/84 the next project started together with Horst "Dorian"
Schaefer as H2S. Quite soon Mathias Eigelshoven from Ex-Aldebaran
joined on bass-guitar. We did some kind of experimental rockmusic as a
synthesis of rock and electronic. After several succesful performances
the band split due to Horst's moving to Vienna/Austria and this led to
my change of place to Alfter near Bonn.
It took until the early 90ies when my focus was turning again to
musical interests. After having developed a program on astrology
considerations arose to use the generated data as source for musical
pieces. This led to the development of my algorithmic system of musical
compositions. In 1996 that system was running fine and a release of 4
CDs was unfortunately cancelled as the label quite unexpectedly stopped
its activities.
Anyway there was a slight change in profession ahead leading me to
work as a freelance editor for some German mags (Fachblatt, Keyboards,
PC & Musik, Sound & Vision etc.) Next musical activities
happened in January 2000 with a solo-performance as "Sonic Sorcerer" in
the well known "Rheingarten" in Bonn. This was followed by several
recording-sessions together with Arnoon in 2000/2001 establishing the
"Amorphonic Music". In 2002 some more material was produced alone in
the Amorphonic style.
As development of VST-Instruments is taking most of my time now there is hardly some left to make music or do tracks.
